Supported Foot Pedals and Hand Controls

The Fusion Narrate client can be operated hands-free using a foot pedal.

It is not necessary to install any drivers or button mapping utilities from the microphone vendor for these foot pedals to work with Fusion Narrate. Additionally, each foot pedal can be configured from the Fusion Narrate Foot Pedal Settings menu.

Mac Foot Pedals

Users can use Fusion Narrate on MacOS through a Virtual Desktop solution such as Remote Desktop or Parallels. The following foot pedal can be used to control Fusion Narrate.

In order to control Fusion Narrate, the foot pedal events must be converted to keystrokes such as F4 and F9 using the Savant Elite2 SmartSet App.

For example, when the middle pedal is pressed it will generate an {F9} keystroke to start recording in Fusion Narrate and then when the pedal is released it will generate another {F9} keystroke to stop recording.

Hand Control

As an alternate, a hand control device exists that simulates a foot pedal.
